No, there are no other guests. The Cottage is a private cottage on private property, where you have the realm all to yourself. Your privacy is therefore fully guaranteed.
The cottage is equipped for 4 people. However, there are 2 extra sleeping places on the first floor. These can be used, for example, to let 2 extra children sleep.
If you come by public transport you will travel as far as Savonlinna. From Savonlinna to Savonranta there is no regular bus service. We can pick you up from Savonlinna for a small fee. The distance from Savonranta to the cottage is 7 km. It is therefore advisable and useful to have your own transport.
Yes, of course. The rowing boat is completely at your disposal. For a small fee you can also use the electric whisper motor.
No that is not necessary. Wood for the sauna stove and if necessary for the wood stove in the living area is available on the veranda of the cottage.
Water is available in the sauna. You can drink the water from the lake as it is very pure. If you want separate drinking water, you can get it from our own well, at the owner’s house.
In the unlikely event that you are unable to come after you have made a booking, the cancellation policy as set out in our General Terms and Conditions Article 9 applies in principle. If you cannot come due to, for example, restrictions due to the Corona situation, you can cancel free of charge and you will receive any deposit back in full.
Yes that is allowed. We assume that you do this with respect for trees, plants and animals. You are not supposed to pick flowers on the property. Finland has the so-called ‘everyman’s right’, whereby you are free to stay in forests. You can read all about this on this page .
Yes, you can bring 1 pet (cat or dog). Your pet must be kept on a leash and you are requested to let your animal outside the premises. If necessary, bring sachets to clean up the need if it’s right on or next to the trail.

Yes, duvets and pillows are provided in the cottage. You can bring your own bed linen and towels, but you can also rent a linen package. The costs of this are on the price list.
You can indicate this on the booking page. The linen package consists of the first set of bed and bath linen: large and small towels, kitchen and toilet towel, tea towel, cleaning cloths, duvet and pillow covers and mattress covers.
